Twisted Love by Ana Huang (Twisted #1)

Rating | 3/5

Following the story of Alex Volkov and Ava Chen, it's a contemporary romance, with a grump/sunshine and close proximity trope. Essentially we're reading the book from both characters' point of view, as Ava's older asks his best friend (Alex) to move into his house and watch his little sister, who happens to live next door. Ava has a broken past and Alex is this super smart and rich young adult.

This book was okay... At times I liked it but I didn't enjoy the random mystery and suspense, with the introduction of a subplot close to the end of the book, that was relevant from the beginning. I found Alex a bit unbearable, and I know he was written as morally gray, but I just couldn't handle him. I'm on the fence about whether I want to continue this series or give another one of her books a try.
